Capturing Screenshot of your Monitor is really easy to take. In case you do have multiple monitors connected to your windows computer, capturing screenshot of single or multiple monitors will require a little bit of effort. In order to take a snapshot or screenshot of your monitor(s), locate the Prt Scr button on your keyboard. Once you have located the Prt Scr button on your keyboard, press it one time.
After pressing the Prt Scr button to capture screenshot of your monitor(s), nothing visible will happen. This would copy the snapshot of your monitor(s) onto the clipboard. In order to view the capture the captured screenshot, open up any image editor like mspaint and press Ctrl + V.
In case you do have multiple monitors or display devices connected to your windows computer, you will get a screenshot of all the monitors connected in extended mode. In case you do have multiple monitors connected to your windows computer in clone mode, you will get a screenshot of only one monitor, which would be effectively single screenshot of all the monitors connected to you windows computer. In case you would like to capture screenshot of the primary monitor (The Monitor on which Start Menu and Taskbar is displayed), you can use the MurGeeMon software which provides a shortcut key combination to capture screenshot of primary monitor or all the monitors connected to your windows computer in extended mode.
